One half of the duo that comprises Brooklyn-based architecture firm Shapeless Studio, co-founder Jess Hinshaw created a home that allowed her to move her mother in to the historic brownstone next door. “It’s antithetical to everything Andrea and I do,” says Hinshaw about her business partner Andrea Fisk. “We love the history of homes, and we always want to find ways to pay homage to a home and also modernize it.”
