To balance varying light sources, DZD partner Kelly Zerbini (@kzerbini) suggests distributing light through multiple fixtures such as adding multiple wall sconces in a room like she did in this featured project on Central Park South in Manhattan.

“It’s a creative look that gives you balanced lighting,” says Kelly, describing her approach when designing the media room in this home. “We do this sometimes so there’s not such a clear, definitive center point.”
